In order to provide connectivity to remote, difficult and hilly areas in Manipur, Manipur Heli Service was re-launched on 21st August, 2019 for 3 locations – Imphal – Jiribam – Imphal, Imphal – Moreh – Imphal, Imphal – Tamenglong – Imphal at subsidised fare of Rs. 3000/pax/trip for Imphal-Jiribam and Rs. 2000/pax/trip for Imphal – Moreh & Imphal – Tamenglong under 75% subsidy scheme from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

The model of the Helicopter is Global Vectra Helocorp Limited Bell 412EP. As per demand, number of sortie is in place.
